Struggle is a part of every life but, discrimination in our community is causing suffering. Businesses are for the most part, non-compliant with the Federal Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards. This non-compliance makes life much more difficult for those in our community who are already disadvantaged. A lack of ADA education and ignorance of the law are massive issues that need to be corrected. We all need to be better. Most business owners are concerned when they learn that they are a big part of the problem. A recent inhouse survey of a school and 70 business parking lots showed only 2 in compliance. This, along with the historically noncompliant inside, is consistent and damaging.


According to the Americans with Disabilities Act:


“Congress finds that physical or mental disabilities in no way diminish a person's right to fully participate in every aspect of society, yet many people with physical or mental disabilities have been precluded from doing so because of discrimination.”


Disabled communities are neglected, frustrated, and humiliated. Knowing barriers are inevitable, leads many to become shut-ins since communities are non-accessible.. It is unfair, Illegal and reputation damaging. Discrimination of every kind needs to stop.


Nicholas Sampson and Jason Adams are Certified by the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program (ACTCP) offered through the University of Missouri.


Services include site evaluations, which determine what is/is not compliant at your facility and provide the information needed to direct the changes needed to become compliant and accessible. We also offer both Transition and Accommodation Plans, as well as developing Grievance Procedures and consulting as needed.



Disability Compliance Solutions offers

a variety of services including:

Site Evaluation: Determine the size and complexity of the project, and offer a quote for services. While we don’t charge for the Site Evaluation itself, we only charge mileage for the trip.


Site Survey: Determine what is/is not ADA compliant at your facility and provide the information needed to direct the changes needed to become compliant, accommodating and accessible.


Transition Plan: Written plan defining a timeline for what is needed to become compliant and what accommodations are in place to overcome existing barriers.


Accommodation Plan: There are times when compliance is not possible. We guide businesses through writing a plan to accommodate existing barriers.


Grievance Policy: All businesses should have grievance policies in place as to how to accept complaints and how they are to be addressed. In the event that you don’t, Disability Compliance Solutions can help you develop one.
